Using Sticky Notes in Windows 7 and 8

From The IT Community
Jump to: navigation, search

Sticky Notes is a clever little tool implemented in the newer Windows versions. They are great for writing down short notes and sticking them to your desktop.

To open Sticky Notes hit the Windows Key on your keyboard and start typing "Sticky Notes". As soon as you see the right result you can hit enter.

You will see a little yellow note stuck to your desktop where you can write (short) notes on.

To create additional notes, click the + or press Ctrl+N.

To delete the note, click the X or press Alt+F4.

Have fun!
