Tile or cascade multiple windows in Windows 7

Sometimes your display is full of open windows and you would like to tile or cascade some of them.

With Aero Snap you can drag a window to the side of the screen and it will fill half of the screen. Then you do the same with another window on the other side. While this is cool, it only works for two windows and only if you want them to be side by side horizontally.

But what if you have more than two windows, what if you want to tile them vertically?

Sure, you can do it manually, but there is a much faster way to do that:

  • Open Task-Manager (hit Ctrl+Shift+Esc).
  • Hold down the Ctrl Button and select the applications you want to order.
  • Right click on one of these applications and select how you want to order them.
