Are you tired of seeing the logo of your computer manufacturer in the computer properties?

Here is how to remove this OEM branding from Windows:

  • Hit the Windows key.
  • Type
Rundll32 IedkCS32.dll, BrandCleanInstallStubs

and hit enter.

  • All OEM branding should now disappear.

But you can also change the logo and use your own:

  • Hit the Windows key.
  • Type regedit and press enter.
  • Navigate to the following path in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ OEMInformation
  • Now adjust the Logo and Manufacturer key values to point to your own picture.

Note: The logo needs to be in .bmp format and should be 120×120.
