Find the Autostart folder in Windows 8

Since there is no classic startmenu in Windows 8, many of you might have asked themselves what happend to the Autostart folder. Well, it is still there.

Here is how to find the Autostart folder in Windows 8:

  • Hit Windows key + R.
  • Type
shell:startup

and hit enter.

You are now in the Autostart folder, every link to a program you put there will be executed at startup.
