The Microsoft Outlook 2013 junk mail filter (some call it spam filter), is a good thing, and normally, works very well. It moves incoming messages which appear to be junk mail into a special junk folder.

So, by default, you should leave it turned on. But some companies already have a service in place that filters spam. So here is how to disable the Outlook feature:

  • Open Outlook.
  • Click on the Home Tab.
  • Click on Junk.
  • In the drop down menu, click Junk E-mail Options.
  • Select No Automatic Filtering.
  • Click OK to save the settings.

Now your incoming mail will no longer be filtered.
