Defining the color and behavior of links in your html site

Jump to: navigation, search

To define the color and behavior for the entire site insert this in the <head>-section of your HTML site:

<style type="text/css">
   a:link {text-decoration: none;}
   a:visited {text-decoration: none; color: blue;}
   a:hover {text-decoration: underline;}

This example will remove the underline of your link (text-decoration: none), set the color of visited links to blue (color: blue) and show an underline for your links when the mouse is hovering over them (text-decoration: underline).

Of course there are a lot of other things you can do with links, have fun trying them out and add them to this article.
