Change hidden settings for every browser

There are a lot of different web browsers out there. One thing they all have in common is, that they all have hidden settings and features that are not easily accessible.

For Firefox, Opera, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer, here is how to change the hidden settings for every browser:


  • Firefox

Put your cursor in the address bar, type

about:config

and press enter.


  • Opera

Put your cursor in the address bar, type

opera:config 

and press enter.


  • Google Chrome

Put your cursor in the address bar, type

chrome://flags

and press enter.


  • Internet Explorer

Hit the Windows key, type

gpedit.msc

and press enter. Go to

Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Internet Explorer

Here you will find the Internet Explorer settings.
